What is CURIOSITY?
CURIOSITY is our annual fall experimental music concert that features Chicago music and artists.
Presented as part of Constellation Chicago’s Frequency Series since 2017.
What might you hear at a Curiosity show? An hour of drone music? Electronics with weird alien noises? A bad joke told from the stage purely to stall for time while Jordan tries to find a replacement reed because he broke his other one slap tonguing for five minutes straight on the first piece of the program?
Well, probably a mix of all three. Whatever it is we play, we invite the listener to get curious with us as we explore the here and now with the groundbreaking new music coming out of the city we call home.

What is the Young Creators Fellowship?
~Nois’ Young Creators Fellowship is an opportunity for talented and creative high-school aged students to create a new collaborative work with ~Nois. The two selected Fellows get private creative lessons with our mentor Joey Meland and participate in two in-person collaborative workshops with ~Nois. Winners each receive a $500 cash prize and a professional video recording of their piece.
