EDUCATION CHANGES LIVES

and we strive to provide the resources that will bring real-world, collaborative musical experiences into the hands and classrooms of students. This is why every year we offer hands-on educational opportunities for secondary and university students of ALL ages across the country (and soon for the first time, out of the country!). In Chicago, we have collaborated with universities and high schools that span the breadth of the city, bringing ~Nois directly into classrooms. Specifically for high-schoolers, we offer a Young Creators Fellowship which provides mentorship and collaboration with the ensemble for a premiere of their new work as part of our DISCOVERY concert programming. In partnership with this program, in the 2024-2025 season we provided free educational programming for over 500 students ages 4-18 in the Chicago-land area. Throughout our regular concert season we strive to encourage young artists to CREATE - whether it be through new works, new ideas, or simply new questions surrounding music.
