Every full season, ~Nois Quartet presents three concerts in their hometown of Chicago, collaborating with a myriad of artists across the city. The various projects are meant to feature creators of the city, showcasing the uniquely rich artistic landscape that exists throughout Chicago.
From world premieres and up-and-coming creators, to riveting concertos and puppet shows, the ensemble ensures there’s plenty of ~Nois to satisfy any person’s eclectic appetite. CHICAGO CONCERT SEASON
Now entering its tenth year, Curiosity is ~Nois annual concert series dedicated to featuring new (and new-ish) music featuring artists with ties to Chicago.
An evening of conversation between voices, "In Dialogue" brings together five works that explore how music speaks across difference, distance, and tradition. The program culminates in the world premiere of an NLM commission by GRAMMY-nominated composer Clarice Assad, who joins ~Nois Saxophone Quartet on stage, alongside works by Caroline Shaw, Jessie Montgomery, Shawn Okpebholo, and Nico Muhly.
