Ten years ago, ~Nois was formed and ~tildes~ were changed forever. ~Nois Quartet was founded in 2016 with a mission to promote the saxophone quartet as an exceptional avenue for chamber music, and to support the next generation of composers. Over the past ten years the group has been performing and commissioning new music that expands the landscape of contemporary musical art.

As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, ~Nois Quartet is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Chicago and communities across the country. As an artist-run organization, your support goes directly to the creation and presentation of new works, and to teaching the next generation of musicians and musician advocates.

Our unwavering commitment to championing new music for saxophone has propelled the organization to reach 20,000+ audience members, 15,000+ students, and 1,000,000+ digital listeners worldwide. By the end of our 10th season, ~Nois will have presented over 250 concerts, 180 educational engagements, 130 premieres, 50 commissions, 6 albums, and 11 singles.
