Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard Announces 2025 Commissions - Paul Novak & ~Nois Quartet

The Board of Directors of the Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard University is pleased to announce the names of twelve composers selected to receive 2025 Fromm commissions. These commissions represent one of the principal ways that the Fromm Music Foundation seeks to strengthen composition and to bring contemporary concert music closer to the public. In addition to the commissioning award, a subsidy is available for the ensemble performing the premiere of the commissioned work.

This prestigious commission is granted annually to a small group of composers by the Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard. Novak is among twelve composers to receive a 2025 commission. The award is funding a new piece for ~Nois Saxophone Quartet that he will compose this coming year.

This upcoming work will be featured at ~Nois Presents: CURIOSITY X. Our fall hometown show that will kick off our 10th anniversary! More info coming soon!
