Join Jessie Montgomery for her first independently curated event in Chicago, “Preludes, Interludes, and Epilogues”, centered around the release of the new book The Struggle Continues by Jessie’s mother, playwright, director, and performer Robbie McCauley.

The event will feature music by composers Shelley Washington and Kailyn Williams (and excerpts from the text read by actor Chris Anthony), interwoven with musical reflections and improvisations performed by Khelsey Zarraga, Tahirah Whittington, John Bitoy, ~Nois Quartet, and Montgomery herself.
