Symphonic Wind Ensemble joins forces with acclaimed Chicago-based ensembles Third Coast Percussion, Eighth Blackbird, and ~Nois saxophone quartet for a dynamic program showcasing the imaginative work of resident composer Viet Cuong. Featuring a visionary trilogy of concerti grossi, the concert launches a weekend recording project sponsored in part through the generous support of the Alumnae of Northwestern University.
