~Nois’ DISCOVERY program brings the music of nationally recognized composers to Chicago to be discovered here in the group’s hometown.

This year’s DISCOVERY IV will feature a new reimagining of Jessie Montgomery’s electric quartet Break Away alongside two world premieres by world renowned composers Nico Muhly and Shawn Okpebholo. DISCOVERY will also have two world premieres by the winners of ~Nois’ 2026 Young Creators Fellowship, Delaney Baeza and Gloria Kravchenko. These fellows are talented and creative high-school aged students selected from across Chicago for the opportunity to create a new collaborative work with the ensemble.

That’s four world premieres in one night, and it starts at 6:30pm so you can be snuggly in bed at a reasonable hour too.
